Deem Spencer Unveils Poetic New Track 'New Light'

Hailing from New York, contemporary artist Deem Spencer released their latest track 'New Light' from forthcoming project Deem's Tape which has been announced to drop on the 9th of July 2021.

Three weeks after his previous release of 'Wife Wife' which showed us visuals of him having a spontaneous wedding with real life girlfriend, as well as enjoying a wholesome summer day. The single was accompanied by smooth vocals from okay kaya.

When asked about the track, Deem Spencer stated that he enjoys singing as he finds it amusing. "I was just playing around with ‘New Light’ but I love it. I couldn’t stop listening to it when I first made it. I ran it up like 3000 times. I think it’s cute,”

Produced by Coach Wave, the track has a minimal beat which suits the atmosphere of the track. The reflective and introspective lyrics sit perfectly alongside the continuous melancholy beat.
