Crayon's 'Trench To Triumph' Live Experience At Omeara London [Review]

Crayon recently graced the stage, turning Omeara London into an Afrobeats epicentre. It was a night filled with pulsating beats and infectious vibes, that even those who may not like to dance, just had to! The Headline show was dedicated to his ‘Trench To Triumph’ album, and the night was for all his supporters, giving them the chance to experience ‘Trench To Triumph’ from start to finish with Crayon himself.



The Mavins Record artist’s album journeys through his life, from his low points, in regards to struggle, love and life in general, to finally reaching a triumphal stage in his life through his artistic growth and no longer living in struggle. Listeners gain an in-depth understanding of who Crayon is and where he has come from on songs such as ‘Calvary Kid’ and ‘Trench Kid’, the first two tracks on the album reinforcing his past and other songs with the likes of ‘Belle Full’ (featuring Victony and KTIZO) and ‘Good Day’




From the moment Crayon got on stage, the energy in the room lit up, you could tell that it was going to be a great night and performance. The concept of experiencing the album live in an intimate venue was meticulously thought out, as fans certainly felt connected to the singer. He spoke to the crowd in between songs, fans helped him decide what songs he should sing next throughout the night he also performed some of his hits which featured other Mavis Records signees such as, 'Ngozi' which features the Princess of Afrobeats, Ayra Starr, and the label's collective hit song 'Won Da Mo'. The artist's fellow label mate Magixx joined him on stage, delivering immaculate vibes, vocals and support.


The singer is visibly establishing himself as one to watch in this new era of afrobeats with the successes that the newer generation is bringing and influencing the genre. Crayon surely has the superstar package, based on his choreography, hit songs, effortless stage presence and connection to his fans.
