Calling All C.P. Company and Asics Connoisseurs

Every brand... well most brands experience a debut collaboration, and these two have united for their first-ever partnership.

The pair soft launched their joint GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII silhouette at their Paris Fashion Week pop-up, and it's safe to say our expectations were met.

Asics embodies the philosophy of "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano" - sound mind in a sound body. This Japanese sportswear company was founded to uplift people's minds in post-war Japan, recognising the transformative power of sports. They've remained dedicated to designing and developing technologically advanced performance footwear supporting individuals "to move for body and mind".

The Italian menswear label, aka "Godfather of sportswear", played a pivotal role being founder and prime innovator of the garment dyeing technique in the early 1970s. Notable milestones like garment dyeing synthetic fibres in 1981 and Gore-Tex in 2005, highlight the innovation that forms the proud foundation of C.P. Company. As all 7 of their previous shoe collaborations have been exclusively with Adidas, it's exciting to witness these like-minded brands paving the way for something new.

The GEL-QUANTUM VIII model has been unveiled in two colourways: yellow and grey, representing C.P.'s community that embraces "the ongoing dialogue with the voices of different personalities". The individual wearing the vibrant yellow pair differs significantly from the one opting for the sleek grey option, as the former emanates a more bold and expressive style in comparison to the latter.

A breathable mesh material covers the upper resembling a knit-like appearance, featuring hidden details on the sock line that create a ripple effect of waves reminiscent of Asics ethos of "sound mind in a sound body".

You'll also find the grey pair showcases a contrasting black shade on the mid/outsole and heel, creating an attention-grabbing colour combination that enhances its refined and sleek nature.

There's an expectation for there to be a wider release in select regions on February 22nd, so if you missed out before now's your chance.
