LFW AW25: BURBERRY

Burberry showed their Autumn/ Winter collection at London Fashion Week today, with a powerful reimagining of British heritage. Under the creative direction of Daniel Lee, the show blended classic Burberry codes with a fresh, modern edge.

The runway was as much about fashion as it was about star power. Industry icons and British legends graced the show, from supermodels Naomi Campbell and Lila Moss to celebrated actors like Richard E. Grant and Lesley Manville. Their presence added an air of sophistication, reminding the audience of Burberry’s deep-rooted connection to British culture.

Lee’s vision for this season embraced the brand’s timeless aesthetic while introducing unexpected twists. Signature trench coats were deconstructed and reimagined with oversized proportions and textured layering. Classic tartans took on a more rebellious attitude, clashing with bold prints and rich jewel tones. Luxurious knitwear, statement outerwear, and equestrian-inspired accessories rounded out the collection, ensuring practicality without sacrificing elegance.

A standout feature of the show was Burberry’s dedication to craftsmanship. Handwoven textiles, intricate embroidery, and artisanal detailing highlighted the brand’s commitment to quality. Footwear also played a key role, with structured boots and sleek leather loafers completing many of the looks.

Burberry’s show was a testament to the brand’s ability to evolve while staying true to its heritage. Daniel Lee continues to push the boundaries, offering a vision that feels both familiar and refreshingly new. This collection reaffirmed Burberry’s place at the heart of British fashion, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating what’s next.
