Bex Explores Conflicting Feeling On ‘Tonight’

Taken by LITTLE ANALOG BOY

Bex finds the conviction to stay steadfast as he attempts to navigate past a complex romantic situation on his latest deep-feeling R&B offering ‘Tonight’.

Based off of a rhythmic acoustic guitar that seeps warmth through the space like a heater during winter, melodic notes stir a deep emotive feeling.

Released via via 10K PROJECTS, ‘Tonight’, Bex finds himself in a relatable situation as he is split between want and emotional preservation. His smooth voice yearns for a lost love despite his better judgement after the ending of the relationship – patiently waiting for reconciliation, he urges his ex-partner to be vulnerable.

Speaking about 'Tonight; he says: "Tonight is about the self-conflict of still wanting to be there for someone (an ex) who you know should have already moved on from."

The Belgium-based artist was raised in Hackney, East London but has also spent time in Botswana and Brunei in his teens. That unique and diverse background has allowed Bex to shape his own authentic sound that showcases an influence from across the diaspora.

This follows his breakout singles ‘Forgiato’ and ‘Seventeen' build up to his debut EP, recently announced the track “Acoustic EP will be released later this year, which we hope, continues to build around his diverse experiences.
