BERWYN Comes To A Moment Of Profound Self-Realisation On ‘Bulletproof'

Bulletproof’ is BERWYN's dedication to the people that have stayed steadfast and supportive in his journey. Often being bulletproof comes without the fear of danger or the undetached feeling that you will feel pain. However, BERWYN isn’t afraid to risk his life or compromise himself for the benefit of a loved one.

Revisiting the personal themes that make his music so authentic and genuine the Trinidadian artist affirms his commitment to his loved ones whilst accepting his own mortality.

Fleetingly his thoughts wander to the sleepless nights he suffers from, as he sings “I got troubles on my mind yeah troubles that keep me up at night yeh troubles that I struggle to fight, yeah” before they return back to the value he places on what makes life meaningful.

Speaking about the track BERWYN writes:“Bulletproof is less about me and more about the people around me. It’s another part of my personality. I’m willing to do anything for the people around me, it kinda revolves around that.”

“It also highlights the dangers of my job and exposes me as an individual with troubles. Relationships are a give and take, have my back and I’ll have yours because I’m not safe, I will need help and I’ll be more than willing to return the favour.”

Heartfelt, the accompanying visuals give the effect of being a cinematic documentation made up of still images of intimate moments in BERWYN’s past shared with the people that mean the most to him.

Already scheduled for a UK headline tour, with live performances in all of the major cities that include shows in Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and also London’s Koko.
