Benny The Butcher And J. Cole Collaborate On New Song 'Johnny P's Caddy'

Straight from the Griselda member's highly anticipated album Tana Talk 4, Benny The Butcher is joined by rap veteran J.Cole on the reflective and victorious themed single Johnny P's Caddy.

Standing as the first collaboration from the two, Johnny P's Caddy is a smooth yet exciting introduction to Benny The Butcher's forthcoming album. The track hears the artists valiantly address their individual, triumphant rises to the top of the hip-hop scene, as J.Cole asserts himself as the 'best rapper alive'.

Produced by The Alchemist, the familiar mellow drum beat previously sampled by J. Cole originates from 1976 track Theme from The Planets by Dexter Wansel, which seamless compliments the humble-brag/anecdotal nature of the song.

In relation to the song's title, Johnny P's Caddy refers to the Cadillac that Buffalo rapper's father owned during his childhood. Speaking on the context of the title the Benny states in a promotional video for the song:

"Johnny P was someone who instilled pride in me early when I was young. Cadillacs, cars, and jewelries, those were like trophies, and he was always known for having a nice, big, shiny Cadillac."
