BEAUTIFUL and AIAIAI To Host Musical Workshops with Guests Mura Masa, PinkPantheress and More

BEAUTIFUL created by DJ SHERELLE will be forming a creative partnership with audio design and gear company AIAIAI to produce a string of workshops that will run through October. With four workshops in total that will hold 15 students, each one will be hosted by SHERELLE and feature lectures and talks with how to navigate the music industry, how they can better understand their craft and dive deeper into the world of electronic music, including its synonymous history with black and queer artists.

With the first session covering the important history and political movement/impact of black music with journalist, author and DJ Marcus Barnes, the workshops will see some of the most exciting names within electronic music today such as Lil Silva, Mura Masa and LCY giving lessons in production.

DJ and writer Elijah will be discussing the economical and social aspects of the music industry, alongside discussions with key members of the community and PR heavyweights including Phoebe Gold, manager to PinkPantheress, Errol from Touching Bass, Mitch Stevens from Relevant Earth, Hannah Shogbola from United Talent and a special guest.

With the final lesson discussing the cultural importance and impact of black music and detailing the rise of musician PinkPantheress, the musician herself will be in attendance to have a conversation with SHERELLE to chat about her journey.

These workshops exist to give specifically queer and BIPOC students from an array of economic backgrounds an extra push into the industry, but also engaging and teaching them about the history and business aspects.

Artists can enrol HERE with submissions closing on the 22nd August.
