On Saturday 12th June at London Fashion Week, exactly, at 11.30 am, we witness an incredible out-of-this-world collaboration between Malaysian-Swedish heritage/London-based Fashion Designer Azura Lovisa and Touching Bass in a collaborative film showing you the energy of self-expression in a soulful ambience of dance expressed in creation, dedicated in a display of an exuberance amount of energy and spirit.
Whilst watching the collaborative film, the audience is presented with incredibly crafted key pieces merged into a capsule collection called Moment, Momentum from Lovisa’s label archive treasure trove. Her inspiration for designing came from her upbringing of Southeast Asian traditions mixed with her creativity and influence for intricate Scandinavian design.
However, this digital experience sends you into a dreamy trance-like sensation for at least ten minutes through fashion, music, beauty and above all dance. With acoustic rhythms playing in the background, it was a dedicated space for you to enjoy your best life, a celebration of energy and a refreshing experience of connection on the dancefloor, directed by Child Studio.
During the involvement in a dance of creation whipped up into a frenzy by the help of Touching Bass which are a record label that brings the community together and admiring the pleasures of movement surrounded by soulful music, only this time they are paired up with Azura Lovisa’s stunning key silhouettes bringing the dancefloor to life.
This representation of movement demonstrates the passion of being as one with the music. However, more importantly, creating a party of dance that highlights the modern mythology interpreted by Lovisa’s creations. In the film, everyone sets out to dance their way through the act of self-expression on the dancefloor and explore the “movement is freedom”, which Touching Bass follow as their main principle.
Now, to summarise this film, the creation of recognisable talent through dance and fashion has come alive together and created a haven presenting nothing but freedom, energy and spirit on the dancefloor.
