In celebration of two and a half centuries of unrivaled craftsmanship, Birkenstock marks this momentous anniversary with a remarkable photo exhibition and the launch of a groundbreaking book series. Titled "Walk With Me," this event, held at Birkenstock Studios, offers an immersive look into the brand's storied history, honouring its profound impact on both shoemaking tradition and contemporary culture.

Set against the backdrop of Dray Walk, the exhibition is a visual ode to Birkenstock’s rich heritage, showcasing an extensive collection of never-before-seen archival treasures. These include the brand's earliest advertisements, private estate materials, and groundbreaking fashion campaigns that have shaped subcultures and left an indelible mark on global fashion.

Central to the exhibition is "The Book of Birkenstock," an innovative series created in collaboration with some of the world's most revered designers, photographers, and book printers. This series captures the essence of Birkenstock's influence over the decades, reflecting its role as a beacon of design, craftsmanship, and cultural resonance.

Attendees will also be treated to an exclusive preview of "Old Mills Never Die," a limited-edition photo book set curated by the illustrious Gerhard Steidl. Through the eyes of celebrated photographers like Henry Leutwyler, who captures the treasures of Birkenstock’s archives, and Werner Bartsch, who documents the brand’s production sites in Germany. This collection delves into the people and processes that define Birkenstock’s iconic status. Juergen Teller's visuals from "Golborne Road" add a touch of subversion, highlighting the authentic characters of Notting Hill adorned in Birkenstock footwear.

The exhibition also features an extraordinary display of the brand's most iconic designs, including exclusive collaborations with the likes of Rick Owens and Toogood, underscoring Birkenstock’s dedication to both innovation and tradition.
