The Warehouse Project Announce Opening Party This Autumn With Bonobo, Jungle, Honey Dijon & Taylah Elaine Plus more

Bonobo and Jungle will be headlining this year’s opening show, Repercussion on Saturday 14th of September to signal the start of The Warehouse Project.

Starting during the day and running long into the night, a vast curation of electronic music will be heard from Depot Mayfield which is split into three main rooms: Depot, Concourse, and Archive. They will also be introducing an extra stage that can be found above Depot, called the Roof.

The music will be a meeting point of sounds such as electronic, jazz, house, sample culture and expressive bops - all have space to exist. Transatlantic sounds from America, Africa and Europe will fuse, adopting characteristics from each other. Soul will also have a home at the Warehouse project as they attempt to cater to an ever-growing audience.

You can also hear music from other stages from outside Depot Mayfield that include Star & Garter pub, Temperance Street, and the Plant Room at Freight Island where several street parties will occur run by the likes of Manchester-based collective Habitat and É Soul Cultura host Luke Una.

There will also be local talent such as Manchester-based salute, Tarzsa, Joey T and Anz and the use of venues essential to the city’s musical identity like YES.

A line-up across the stages will include Dutch artist Jarreau Vandal, Moluccan-via-Dutch artist JAEL and London-based Taylah Elaine, Honey Dijon, Bradley Zero, Sofia Kourtesis, DJ Seinfeld, berlioz (DJ), Major League DJz, DESIREE, Chloé Caillet and The Warehouse Project’s longest-standing resident, Krysko will also make appearances.
