Bold and direct, British / Colombian soul singer Sasha Keable is authentic and genuine in conveying exactly what she wants on her latest R&B single ‘Auction’ featuring Destin Conrad.
Longing for what no longer is in her best interest, ‘AUCTION’ is the pursuit of sexual desire and the expression of attraction without a care for the consequences .
At the beginning Sasha starts off languid and smooth, transparent in her wants and needs before she seams into the thrill of the actions.
And you’re swept up by the soulful sound of the South London artist as she adopts a breathless urgent tone manifested in a catchy and addictive chorus that is explicit and sexy.
“Auction to me feels like a moment of pure expression of where I’m at in my life right now", Sasha says. Working with Destin was incredible, I’m so grateful that we finally got to do it because I’ve been such a huge fan of his music and him as a person for so long. Shooting the video was very very jokes, a really good time was had by all on board.
I’m just excited to put it out and to just be completely myself and be completely free in who I am. And it’s just a sexy ass tune I want people to have babies to, I want girls to make other girls pregnant to this song. That’s what I want, that’s my goal, that’s my aim.”
Destin compliments the track singing over emotive piano keys with sensuously sweet vocals keeping up the intensity as seeps us in an erotic image.
He sings, “You never knew you made me sad boy / but you know I got it bad boy, got me waiting by the phone to get a call or a text from you.”
The accompanying music video, directed by Ben Cole is a sensitive and artful rendering of Sasha and Destin that play into the themes of the video.
With ‘Auction’ being the follow up single to ‘Hold Up’ and the second single of the year. “We ain't no strangers,” Sasha warns.
