On ‘Cutlery’ he demonstrates his familiar charming flow and clever lyricism rapping over a beat, composed of percussive instrumentation and electrotonic synth produced by PRGRSHN
He’s quick to state his uniqueness on the track remarking “she’s met no one like me, she said I’m uncommon” going on to explain over three minutes why he’s existing in a world apart.
Speaking on the new single, Ants stays “Hear what I’m saying… ‘She ain’t met no one like me’, it’s that simple. I’m on this energy all 2023. Taking it back to basics. More music than last year. I promise you last year was just the warmup…”
His refreshing and creative video for ‘Number One Candidate’ caught the attention and was rewarded with a MOBO nomination for Best Music Video of The Year
The accompanying music video for ‘Cutlery’, is shot in another creative and imaginative way as he uses hacked CCTV cameras that give a unique perspective on the capital.
